Pumpkin is very loving and has been a nanny cat to the kittens that have been in the home. However he is a very timid boy and will take a long time to adjust to his new home. He will also take some time adjusting to other pets in his home. Once he gets over being scared he's sooo loving. Pumpkin loves to be brushed and to get cuddles. He has developed a love of baby talk and is still learning how to play games with humans. Pumpkin is very good with children but is still working on getting use to being picked up.Adoption processAll adoptions begin with an adoption application, available here or on our website (or from one of our wonderful volunteers in person). The application is reviewed by the adoptable animal's foster home as well as by the appropriate coordinator (canine/feline) to assess how the animal will fit in your home. We endeavour to respond to all applications within 72 hours, but being 100% run by volunteers sometimes we need additional time--if you haven't heard back after 72 hours, feel free to contact us to check in on your application.
