***AT SHELTER***Hondo The Whiskerlicious Wonder!Hondo is an incredibly handsome, yet sometimes timid, brown tabby who was rescued from a difficult past. Now at EHS, Hondo has come a long way in his quest to find his forever home, and loves nothing more than to curl up beside that special someone and receive all the love and affection he can get.Hondo is a stunning cat who is sure to capture the hearts of everyone he meets. But despite his good looks and charming demeanor, Hondo can be a shy fellow who takes some time to warm up to new people and new surroundings. When he is approached slowly, Hondo will happily receive pets on his face and chin with the back-scratcher, which is his favorite way to be shown affection. Recently, he's even started to accept head pets by hand! Hondo also has a big appetite for snacks and absolutely loves tube treats. He's not shy about eating from a finger or a back-scratcher either.Although Hondo may be warming up to his new surroundings, we are still uncertain about how he would do in a household with other pets or small children. He does, however, show interest in other cats and may benefit from having a feline companion to help him feel more comfortable. With patience and love, Hondo will continue to blossom into an amazing addition to any family willing to give him the love, time, and attention he deserves.If you're looking for a loyal companion who will always be by your side, Hondo is the perfect match for you!--------------------The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Take home a feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200. Or double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Kittens are not spayed or neutered until 5 months of age, but the cost of spay/neuter will be covered as part of the adoption.--------------------Interested in adopting Hondo? It's easy!
