Microchipped, DOB March 6, 2021 This unassuming, handsome boy has many sides! Shy Bagheera; needs time to adjust in new places. Prefers to nap in his safe space until he feels secure. He’s quite happy to do his own thing too. Explorer Bagheera; ventures into living space to discover toys and get treats. Acro-cat Bagheera; the wand toys means a floor show. He puts on an impressive display of back flips, somersaults and jumps. Who needs Netflix! Sweet Bagheera; does figure 8’s around your legs until you reach down to give gentle pets. At bedtime he lies on the bed and welcomes chin, head, neck and back scratches. In return you get lots of kitty kisses. Bagheera shies away if you unexpectedly reach out to pet him, but he happily accepts it if he ‘sees’ it coming. He could be a lap cat one day. Afternoons find him soaking up rays on the dresser or looking out the window. He may get anxious if he hears noises outside the apt, and strangers scare him. He hides until he feels safe but is slowly adjusting. Bagheera does not like being picked up or held. Wet food is his favorite, and treats too.Adoption processAdoption fee is $200 per adult cat, and $250 for kittens (under 8 months old). This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way! Note: -Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $200.-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $150 per cat vs. $200 per cat.
