Microchipped, DOB: Mar. 11, 2019 Tundra is a sassy, playful, and affectionate kitty who has come a long way after only 3 weeks in her foster home. She loves to play and use her scratching post to keep her nails nice and trim. She’s a great eater and is food-motivated, but don’t worry you won't find her chewing through any of her food bags. She’s also a hygiene queen who has good litter box habits and loves being brushed. Tundra came to us from a hoarding situation which means she can be a bit unsure of new people at first. Once she gets to know you however, she’ll be meowing and approaching for pets, to play with you, and she’ll be eating treats right out of your hand. Tundra has great communication skills and will let you know how she’s feeling. It would be important for her new family to pay attention to her body language. She has never been aggressive about it, no biting or swatting, but she will convey when she’s uncomfortable and just needs a little bit of patience while she settles in. Tundra does seem to get more confident and comfortable every day, and her foster family is certain that once she’s settled into her forever home, it won’t be an issue after a month or two! Tundra is truly wonderful and her foster family can't wait to see her blossom into a cat with a big and loving personality in the right home!Adoption processAdoption fee is $200 per adult cat, and $250 for kittens (under 8 months old). This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way! Note: -Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $200.-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $150 per cat vs. $200 per cat.
