DOB 21-Jun-2018 Samantha is really sweet once she gets to know you. She’ll start out hissing and growling, but once she’s used to you, she loves getting attention. Particularly in the form of a brush. She’ll purr and rub up against you, and even give you little head butts. She’s also quite fearful, and strikes out at hands and feet if they get too close, try to pet her or startle her. I found I had success petting her with the stick of a wand toy, and brushing her. She would do best in a home with no other pets. Whenever my resident cats have gotten close to the closed door of her sanctuary room, she goes right up to it and hisses and growls at them through the door. She likes kicker toys with catnip, crinkly toys and puzzle treat dispensers. I have a ball I put Temptations in, and she likes poking that around.
