Bonnie is a playful, energetic and curious girl who has learned that humans are pretty awesome. She loves to play and will jump, chase and pounce for long periods of time. She was the first one to discover the top of the bookshelf and will perch in precarious places to reach new heights. She will keep her new family on their toes! But she makes up for it with a fantastic purr and lots of head bumps. Bonnie came to our rescue from an outdoor colony, so she is still learning that people are friendly and kind (as well as good sources of food, treats and pats). Her new family will need to be patient as she learns to feel comfortable and learns to trust in her new environment. Bonnie would do best in a quieter home, especially one with older kids or respectful school aged kids. She is great with other cats and requires a feline friend in her new home (ideally one of her siblings). She hasn’t had any exposure to dogs but would likely learn to be ok with a calm dog that is used to cats.
