Marvelous (shaded golden, female, ELH) x Jasper (white, male, Persian) Litter - DOB 2/5/24. Each kitten from this litter is named from a synonym of their mother's name; Wonderous, our little Wonder Woman. She is a traveler. She went on a 4-hour drive with us to Indiana and got to experience the total eclipse! She did so great in the car. If you are looking for a travel companion, I strongly recommend her as a potential member. She settled in quickly and slept on the center console, used the litter box in the car as needed, and had no reduction in appetite due to the stress of travel. What a champion! She is a sweet girl and would be a great addition to anyone's home. She clung to my niece, I think she will make a good friend to a child, if you have one. This is a CFA registered litter as "Exotic Long Hair (ELH father is a white Persian and mother is a shaded golden ELH. Exotic Long Hair were developed in 1966 by breeding peke-faced (flat-faced) Persians outside their line to get short haired Persians called Exotic Short Hair. Long hair is recessive, so you need two copies to get long hair. When breeding short hairs, they can carry long hair genes, so they essentially ended up with long haired cats again. It just means their bloodline isnt pure Persian; same with Himalayans and Ragdolls, both are front Persian lines.
