Maruko is very affectionate and social. She needs a little time to warm up to a stranger, but still allows petting at first acquaintance. She is also friendly to kids and loves to play with other cats. Maruko showed up at a colony of 10+ cats in a residential area. She was new there and appeared to be very skinny. She immediately approached the feeder with her tail high up and allowed the feeder to pet her. We sent her to the next TNR appointment and surprisingly found that she was pregnant even though she looked so skinny. Due to her friendliness, we found her a foster home. The fosterer has taken great care of her. She went to a health exam in March. She was FIV/FeLV negative, and very healthy overall. Maruko is very friendly to kids. She is also good with the other cat in the foster home.
